Why subscribe?

This site will publish weekly newsletters, usually released on Fridays, which will be available to all readers. The newsletters will provide short insights and observations that I will draw from longer, more formal essays, which will explore topics covered in the newsletter in more depth. The essays will be published in what I am calling a “series.” Each essay series will be more like a book that is emerging in a serial format, similar to how novels were once published serially in newspapers or magazines. When I begin a new series, such as the series on Trump’s rhetoric, the first essay will be available to everyone. This will provide an introduction to the series. If you wish to read the rest of the series, you may subscribe. Subscribers will also become part of my writing process, helping to shape my insights as the series emerges. Your subscription will also provide access to the Democratic Vistas publication archives.
